The tournament will follow the Swiss System with 9 rounds, conducted strictly as per FIDE Laws of Chess, with a time control of 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment per player.

Rules & Regulations

• KSCA ID is mandatory for all Karnataka-based players
• AICF ID is mandatory for all participants
• Free entry for GMs, IMs, WGMs, and WIMs
• Chess sets and clocks provided to all players
• Players must inform the Chief Arbiter in writing for withdrawals
• A five-member Appeal Committee will handle protests (protest fee: ₹1,000, refundable if upheld, must be filed within 10 minutes of the incident)
• Players must be present during prize distribution to claim prizes
• E-Certificates provided to all participants; winner certificates for prize winners
• Food stalls available on payment basis
• Bags, mobile phones, wrist watches, and electronic devices are not allowed in the playing arena
